Things are in full swing for the holiday season which means that New Years is right around the corner! These sequin shorts are perfect for partying it up if you’re not into wearing dresses. But it can also be dressed down with a pair of knee high boots and a black wool coat, appropriate for family gatherings and such.
So this pair immediately caught my eye when I was doing some shopping at Zara the other day (I’ve linked some similar pairs below as this one is already about to be sold out…sorry!). The base of the shorts are also velvet, which only made me love this pair even more.

Can we talk about how fast this year flew by. I feel like I say that almost every year but it’s just a testament to the fact that this life really is short. I am making it more of a point to focus on the things that truly matter to me, such as cultivating strong relationships with people.
Who knows when my last day on this earth will be. But whenever that day comes, I want to know that I left a resounding impact on the lives of those around me. Not just through style and beauty, but through the way I treated people.
