Isn’t this sequin mini dress the cutest?? It’s so festive and is definitely a statement dress this season. If you follow me on Instagram Stories, then you’d know I wore this dress to my job’s annual holiday party and it was a hit!
To be honest, with items like this I’m always a little weary that I won’t find somewhere fancy enough to wear it to. Luckily this year, the attire for our holiday party was dressy (courtesy of your truly who was part of the planning committee).
Surprisingly, my fave part of this dress is the high and halter neck line. There are times when I feel nervous about styles like this, mainly because my shoulders. I get bit self conscious since my shoulders are broad so I fear that I look like stocky. But, that’s just my mind playing all the tricks on me and I’m glad I shook that concern away.
New Years Eve is right around the corner, so if you’re someone that likes to go all out, then this dress is definitely for you! I’ve linked some other sequin faves below!

Earlier this week, I had a mini breakdown while at work because I was so frustrated with a very minor setback to my schedule. And while in retrospect, that setback seemed a bit minute, in the moment, I was very upset.
But then I started feeling bad that I was so upset and I expressed my range of emotions on Instagram stories and there were SO many of y’all that reminded me to not even chastise myself for feeling the way I feel. That my feelings are valid and I have the right to address them as such.
Thank you for reminding me that it’s ok to feel down some days, No matter the reason why, we all have our own personal reasons why things affect us the way they do.
