Ruffle Jumpsuit + Pleated Romper

This post is in collaboration with Orchids & Spice Clothing

There are very few outfits that are as easy as a one piece. Literally, you pull it on, throw on some accessories, and you’re set! As of late, doing things with ease is way more appealing to me, and that includes dressing up. This ruffle jumpsuit and pleated romper are perfect for summer and the added floral purses (which I promise I did unintentionally) just added to the vibes. Let me know which look is your fave!ruffle jumpsuitThe first look is this chambray culotte jumpsuit. We all know that I have a thing for culottes, off the shoulder, and denim, so this look was an automatic YES in my book. Chambray is super lightweight so you don’t have to worry about sweating in this. The one thing I do wish is that the waistband was tighter. The top stayed put the entire day (which is a win). We shot this look at a local motel (staff was SUPER friendly). I don’t know what it is but this look is giving me “fun, cheap LA summer vibes”. Here for it!

Look 2

pleated romperpleated romperThe second look is this black deep-v romper that will for sure be on repeat this summer (I would suggest using a safety pin and/or body tape to keep the “girls” in place). The pleated material is super flattering, in my opinion, because it just drapes over the body. My favorite part of this number are the sleeves! I have this thing with billowy and bell sleeves and this romper gives me the best of both worlds.

When something doesn’t go the way I expected, I take a step back, take a literal deep breath (so helpful), and figure out a way to work around that situation. Being angry won’t make it go away. And taking a deep breath is easier than exerting anger all day (it’s hard…I know because I do it more often that not lol). I’m still a work in progress. But be easy, like these one piece sets, and call it a day *insert peace sign*
