Holiday content is officially underway here at the TheDailySeyi.com and I could not be more excited! I spent one weekend just planning out all the content for November and December and to be honest, I am quite proud of myself. I’m ready to serve style & beauty looks, ideas, and gift guides to get you guys through the most wonderful time of the year!
First up, everyone’s favorite school uniform pattern: PLAID!
Plaid is one of those timeless patterns that will always find a way to come back in trend. It’s also one of those patterns that can work with every season. But we all know, that plaid has a special place in our hearts during the winter and holiday time. This week’s style posts are dedicated to this holiday pattern that you can find on almost anything.
The plaid mini skirt is a staple. If you grew up in the 90s era, then you know that a plaid mini skirt was a key costume element in almost every teen movie (i.e. Clueless). I mean, we all wanted to have Cher’s life…secretly, or not so secretly. The one thing about this skirt is that it automatically makes you look preppy af. When I slipped this Who What Wear Collection number on, I immediately felt like I was ready to go back to high school, but this time, to slay.
If you couldn’t tell, I’m one of those people who take this season very seriously. Something about this season just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and I love to spread that feeling to anyone I come in contact with. My mom LOVED celebrating Christmas because that meant bonding time with family, and I’m grateful for those moments we got to share with her. We have videotaped footage from many Christmases, opening gifts and just being with one another. Videos that I hope to share with my children some day so that can have a visual reminder of who their grandma was.
