There’s something about pastels that scream “SUMMER!”. I am a sucka for all things light colored (i.e. mint green, lilac, pale pink cotton candy blue). These colors are so fresh to me and I like the way they compliment my skin tone ;). So of course when I saw this skirt on Asos, I HAD TO HAVE IT! I originally wanted the pink color and then decided for the blue because I don’t have anything like it in my closet.

I love the floral detailing and the sheer lining stitched to the bottom of the skirt. I paired it with this chiffon top from Topshop that also has sheer detailing at the top. Decided to play with textures and busted out this jacket I got a few years back. I always forget that I have some items in my closet and then when I finally decide to wear it again I’m like, “oh yeaaaaa! this is why I bought this…yassss!” Wishing you all a happy and blessed week!
