School has been quite hectic to say the least. But, I finally have a small break before the next whirlwind of exams and projects so this weekend I’m taking some time to rest. On Friday I went out to a BBQ that a classmate was throwing and my gosh! First off, being on a rooftop in DC, beautiful! It was such a gorgeous day and the weather was perfect!
It’s always funny when I’m taking pictures, especially in very public places. I’m naturally a shy person so I’m not huge on attention being on me. But I tell ya, blogging has forced me to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. Now, I’m used to getting stares as I’m posing in the middle of a sidewalk. While taking these pics, this elderly man said “come on, I wanna see a smile!” After taking the pics, two folks pointed out how they liked my red shoes…they literally yelled “Red Shoes!!” sooooo I’m going to take that as a compliment Lol
