Fall is in full swing and LA is slowly catching the memo. And you can’t really have a fall wardrobe without a pair of black boots in rotation. This post is dedicated to the best black boots for fall I’ve been able to find (ranging from very affordable to mid range). If you’re a fan of my style, then I promise you’ll love these boots too!
My love for the combat boot style has grown in the last 2 years. Not only are they insanely comfortable, they instantly add some edge to an outfit. I have plans to actually wear my combat boots with this outfit a different day because it’ll give me a different vibe. Add a denim jacket and a nice wide brim hat and boom! A completely different look!
I have a preference for a heeled ankle bootie, so that’s what I included here. But I did also included lower heel versions for those who want some height without doing too much. Ankle booties are perfect for jeans and slacks (especially when both are on the longer side).
Like this outfit, knee high boots work perfectly with a dress or skirt look. I especially love wearing a knit midi skirt/dress over knee high boots for the ultimate fall look. But realistically, knee high boots can quite literally work with any outfit. With knee high boots, you do need to take into account your calf size, as the boot structure can determine how it would fit.
